"Live well for today, for yesterday is a dream, and tomorrow a vision. Make yesterday a dream of happiness, and tomorrow a vision of hope." -Tribute by her Family

Born on January 7, 1973 in Spain, Rena Sam-Dinnoo came to the United States in 1996 and was later joined by her husband, Andy Dinnoo. Wanting a better life for her and her husband, she pursued a degree in Business Administration. At the end of 1996, she landed a job at Chase Manhattan Bank as a Customer Service Representative and by September 1998, she completed her Associates degree in Business Administration-Accounting from Berkeley College in NYC. She then began working at Bratique in 1998 as an Accounting Clerk.
In 1999, she embarked on a career at Marsh & McLennan as a Premium Accountant in the Premium division while continuing her studies for a degree in Business Administration at Pace University. In the spring of 2001, Rena graduated from Pace University with a bachelor's degree, and decided to continue her education with by obtaining a master's degree. In that same year, she received a promotion at Marsh & McLennan.
Rena was also very committed to her family. She was generous and always willing to help. "She was never a dull person. She is well educated, and loved to talk, really about anything," Andy Dinnoo said. "Rena was so energetic and full of life," said her husband.

I miss you alot Rena. We met each other in Berkeley College to do our associates degree. We then venture off to Pace University together with Octavia to do our undergrad degree. I'm sure I will see you again in a much better peaceful place.

Of all the many people who lost their lives on that day, the loss of Rena hit me the most. I worked with her at Marsh and went to school with her at Pace. She was pleasure to know and I will remember her forever.

Dear Sam-Dinnoo Family,
You have been in my thoughts and prayers since I heard the tragic news about Rena. I had the good fortune to meet Rena many years ago at church when she was just starting her undergraduate studies. I pray for Mr. Dinnoo, Betu, Gina, Lisa and the rest of the family. May God give you the peace that passes our earthly understanding. As Christ has risen we too will rise again to meet Rena!

To the family and friends of Ms. Rena Sam-Dinnoo:
This morning I sang the Mozart Requiem in Raleigh, North Carolina with 4 combined choirs and the North Carolina Symphony Orchestra. The singers and orchestra were a part of the world-wide "Rolling Requiem" effort (there is a website if you aren't familiar with it), and this beautiful musical work was sung at 8:46 in almost every time zone around the world. Each singer wore the name of a person lost last September 11. I had the honor of singing for Rena this morning. I wanted to tell you that she was and is in my thoughts and prayers today, and that the performance of Mozart's Requiem was glorious and moving.
Sincerely,
Lynn Wilson
On September 11 2002, my college, Mount Union, put 3005 flags around all the sidewalks to remember all the victims and heroes of this tragedy. On each of the flags there was a name and my flag had Rena Sam-Dinnoo. My deepest sincerity to the family. I will remember you in my prayers.
Stephanie Sinegar (Alliance, OH )
My prayers are with Rena's family. My heart goes out to you. Rena had a lot more years and a lot to give the world. Please understand that one day you shall meet her again. God bless you all.
Fred Lobb (Pasadena, CA )
May God Bless you and may you rest in peace forever more.

The world will miss such hard working person. We are very sorry for your loss of Rena. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you.

This artwork is unique in that it depicts the World Trade Center towers with the images of the victims incorporated into the poster. The spiritual effect of the poster is strengthened by the image of the sun between the towers which creates diverse visual associations for the viewers. It has been created using a photomosaic technique without repetition of images.

Eternal rest, grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen. Prayer for the Dead
Glorified and sanctified be God's great name throughout the world which He has created according to His will. May He establish His kingdom in your lifetime and during your days, and within the life of the entire House of Israel, speedily and soon; and say, Amen. May His great name be blessed forever and to all eternity.
Blessed and praised, glorified and exalted, extolled and honored, adored and lauded be the name of the Holy One, blessed be He, beyond all the blessings and hymns, praises and consolations that are ever spoken in the world; and say, Amen. May there be abundant peace from heaven, and life, for us and for all Israel; and say, Amen. He who creates peace in His celestial heights, may He create peace for us and for all Israel; and say, Amen. Mourner's Kaddish
