My Wish List

This coming Saturday is my 21st birthday. People keep asking me what I want, but I don't know. I mean, I know what I want, but it's nothing I can ask for. I want a digital camera for one. A new laptop, Apple of course. My loans paid off also. A boyfriend too. I want to make my mom's life, brother's life, and family's life easier. But I can't ask anyone for these things because either they're a) too expensive, or b) not something that people can give me. So I don't ask for anything.

Hmmmm...my birthday is a week from today and I could also use a digital camera. But, I know what you mean. The things you really need are things that don't come in a gift box with tissue paper (although those things are good, too!). Still, I think the best part of birthday presents is knwowing that someone thought of you and picked something out that they hoped would make you happy, no matter what it is or how much it cost. Even just getting a card can make you feel so good. Yay! I love birthdays! Can't wait to celebrate the big 2-1 with you!
Love and (birthday) kisses,
Lansi

Yeah it's tricky at our age(of course you are younger than me)most of our wishes are way too big. Hope you think of something. I like gift certificates.

Whatever you get, it's the thought that counts. I mean it. My parents just sent me 2 new shirts. Wrong size. But I still appreciate the gift. Have a Happy Birthday. I think I remember you mentioning you like chocolate. Maybe that's something you can ask for. And maybe the bf too.

Happy birthday! For my last birthday (several months ago) some of my friends sent me on a wild scavanger hunt around the city (aka, I had to find them where they were hiding based on certain clues) and then took me out to dinner. Twas quite lovely. :)

Jill, I love you! Life is hard, there's no doubt about that. But, don't worry, your birthday will be amazing! We're definitely going to have to do something this weekend. We all need or want something, the imporant thing is to just appreicate what you have. I know that sounds like a hallmark card, and I know it's easier said that done. I hope you have a Bracha to recieve all that you should have. Love ya. -Abby
