Desperation & Loneliness
Someone recently said to me, "I get the impression from you sometimes that you're desperate and very lonely." While I immediately denied it, it did make me think and wonder. Am I desperate and lonely? Honestly, no, I'm not, and the more I thought about it, the more I keep saying, "No, I'm not." I don't feel desperate, and I'm not lonely. But am I really giving off such a strong vibe or impression that I'm desperate and lonely? Did this person get this impression because I have friends on and from the internet? And if so, does that fact mean that I'm desperate and lonely? Yes, I make friends on the internet, male and female friends. If my posts on here slant toward the male friends, well, that's because men can be very confusing sometimes, as are the emotions they evoke. Besides, sometimes men tend to make lives more interesting. But desperate and lonely I am not.

That is terrible of them to say no you are not.
Aviva, you seem, to me, to be one of the most down-to-earth, chilled people ever. Ignore those ignorant peeps, and listen to all of us who tell you that you're just fine.
And yeah, men are confusing as heck. Next time I have a blog, I'm dedicating the entire subject to that species.
And I'm not s'posed to be online for a week, so if anyone asks, I was not here.
Thanks Hisb. I do ignore those people, but sometimes what they say does make me wonder. It just gives me something to think about.
Lol. I think you should dedicate a post to men and their confusing ways. Maybe you can enlighten the rest of us.

Cellar-Believe it or not, men can be confusing. Not all the time, maybe not even most of the time, but you guys have your moments. (And Rachel McAdams is cute. Did you see her in The Notebook? Good movie.)
Henri-Thanks. I guess (and hope) you're right. I don't care what others say, but this person who told me, really made me think. I dunno. Maybe I was just in a mood.
I said it not because of the Internet but because that's the impression I get from you.
Men are disgustingly simple, women complicate things. Hell guys really don't care what a woman looks like as long as she's nice to him and not fugly.
Women read those stupid women's magazines and get a very odd idea of "What men are thinking." Men are thinking "I'm hungry" or "I could go for a beer" or "Sex" or "Damn I love her" and simple things like that, even the most intelligent ones. Hell Aviva you know me well enough to know I'm pretty smart and that's probably 95% or more that runs through my mind.
Ladies, guys just want honesty and affection. That's it. STOP COMPLICATING US WE ARE SIMPLE!!! If we have a problem we'll tell you about it.
Aviva I still stand by what I said. You are still a babe, and a hell of a woman, but I get that impression sometimes. I won't go into the reasons why I think so in public, IM me if you want to know why.

And yeah, I agree that women are complicated. They drive me crazy, as well. I need to start my own breed.
Men are awesome and perfect. its crazy.
Cd-That's mainly why men are complicated. And men are not that awesome, and not that perfect, but you do come in handy sometimes. :P

You are NOT desperate and lonely...like was said before, you are down to earth and chilled...and who cares if you have friends on the internet (as long as they are not psychotic controlling freaks)...we're here for you (I mean, if I would pass you on the street I wouldn't know the difference!) and that's what matters...my closest friends live in NY...does that make me lonely and desperate this summer? I don't think so, because I always talk to them, and I know they're a phone call away.
